Election Year Means Voter Turn Out
This is the year for change! Western Wisconsin voter turn out in the February Presidential Primary was higher than in recent election years, mainly due to many local election issues. All over the state, many offices were on the ballot as many newcomers decided to toss their hat into the ring. And the crazy part of it all?? Over and over again the state saw incumbents being tossed out on their ears, losing to candidates with no political experience whatsoever. The People of Wisconsin are mad as hell and aren’t gonna take it anymore! Property taxes are at an all time high, fees being added to vehicles (the new wheel tax), car registration fees skyrocketed and there was that $1.00 per pack cigarette tax. Those fees and tax hikes didn’t come out of nowhere - your current elected officials likely had something to do with it.
